After years of working in financial services alongside my work as a massage therapist, in January 2017 I decided to take a leap of faith to go full-time and founded Project Active.
I qualified as a Reflexologist in 2007, Swedish Massage in 2008 and Sports Massage Therapy in 2009. My real passion is in treating people and allowing them to achieve their fitness goals rather than being sat at a desk all day eating chocolate and staring at spreadsheets.
I’ve attended many advanced-technique courses such as releasing the lower back and hips and understanding / treating neck pain. My formal qualifications haven’t stopped and I’m currently studying the Level 5 Sports Massage at the renowned Oxford School of Sports Massage (course details) to enable me to better advise and support my clients; ie you.
My other passion is running and as a qualified Leader in Running Fitness, I help others (groups and individuals like you) into regular activity improving their health and wellbeing.
My biggest achievement to date? Running the London Marathon in 2015. But establishing Project Active is set to beat even this so whether you’re recovering from, or looking to prevent a recurrence of, an injury or if you need help to achieve your fitness goals, then why not get in touch?
